How did you initially get started on the path of becoming a 3D artist? And what would you say are some of the key challenges you've faced in this field?
Lisa & Licca : We started our digital art journey in the beginning of 2022, when quarantine became mandatory in Hong Kong. Being stuck at home led us to explore the world of 3D online, from watching tutorials on YouTube to experimenting with different 3D modeling software and creating our own artworks. We soon came to realize our love for 3D and started to share our work online with the handle, INNSVX.
The biggest challenge with 3D is how time consuming it is. It takes a lot of time and patience to perfect every aspect and details for each artwork. At the same time, we have a lot of ideas so we sometimes struggle with narrowing them down and making sure each idea is executed exactly the way we want.
What are your thoughts on the cultural differences, especially fashion style, between Hong Kong and Japan? Do you have a preference for shopping in either Hong Kong or Japan?
Lisa & Licca :We noticed that the style of Hong Kong people are quite diverse with western influences, whereas fashion in Japan is more unique, experimental and bold. We’re always inspired by the styles of both places, but our main source of inspiration is y2k movies and games! For shopping, we prefer Japan because we love thrifting and they have a lot of vintage stores to find one of a kind pieces.
Could you please introduce your daily styles?
Lisa & Licca :Our daily style is mainly a mixture of coquette girly vibe, sporty street style and of course prioritizing comfort. We also love to accessorize with jewelries, keychains and ribbons to elevate our look.
What inspired you to style your look with 5FEET2 jewellery pieces and combinations?
Lisa & Licca :For the outfits we created in the animation, we used our favorite camo prints and bold colors, but keeping the silhouettes casual and wearable so it mirrors back to what we usually wear in real life. We also decided to keep the outfit ensembles more of a street style vibes so that it accentuates the jewellery
